I can't make out the hardware choice?
And the choice for the "concert" style with no front head option is for?
Travel ease?
Those pesky sound engineers?
The finishes look nice!!!!
Love ta hear 'em?
Oh, who is Zach Hill?
Sorry RT to use this as a forum but
I got carried away.

i don't know the hardware choice either. i'll find out though.
i'm not sure why he hasn't been putting a second head on. i've assumed that he found they sounded good without. but i'll ask.
zach hill is the drummer of hella ("concentration face" and "portals" dvds). he also has solo and a bunch other musical projects goin on outside of hella.

talked to jenkins a few days ago.

he said he usaully uses standard pearl hardware, except for when making a drum for Zach... the standard pearl lugs have been breaking under his abuse, so for Zach he use heavier duty hardware.

as far as no front head goes... he, and everyone else that hears them, has been so pleased with the sound without the front head that he just doesn't normally add it.
