MERCH TABLE MOMENT

Anyone who's worked an indie band merch-table knows this moment... Everyone has deserted the table to watch the band play... Sometimes it's welcome sanctuary from the mathematics of cash transactions... Sometimes it it can verge on brief feelings of loneliness. On this particular night it was a moment for Dan Elkan to nurse the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome that was painfully keeping him from his guitar for months on end.

Carpal tunnel syndrome is numbness, tingling pain, and weakness in the thumb, index and middle fingers, which causes irritation. The choice of treatment depends on the severity of the symptoms and any underlying disease that might be causing the symptoms. To know more consult Dr. Trahan at Olympus Center for Holistic and Integrative Medicine. Visit here http://www.empoweredhospital.com/doctor_index_1075.html

ha! true, the band was lucky to have friends, like Dan and Joe, that helped with driving, handling the merch, etc.— for personal reasons of their own, whether it be as an extended holiday from the responsibilities of home, being a part of a band tour when your carpal tunnel has kept you from being on tour with a band of your own, and/or just the pure joy of being out on the road with your bros.
