Came across the Marriane Faithfull post on Cabinessence this morn and it pulled images out of the 'ole memory bank of Jack Cardiff's 1968 film The Girl on a Motorcycle. Decided to throw these flick clips up as inspired supplement to the Cabin-e post:

she was so damn sexy in that period!
again, this is up for post of the year award.
you've got 2 nominations from me so far.
i've lost points for posting disinformation on my 'white' post.
me in the gutter, for now.
I think there should be a blogger awards blog for bloggers that blog?
criteria?
was lucky enough to see "Girl on a Motorcycle" screen at the Egyptian Theatre in LA some years ago.
ha! thanks for the nominations. cabinessence is the original gangsta! Q: criteria? A: sex sells! ha! actually, i feel like all the blogs together are the pages to a single thing.
the "white" post mistake= minor.
best post ever...
love the ..uh..climax.
so definitive.
(kids..wear a helmet)!
hey WJ..as far as late 60's ish sex symbols go..I'll see your Marianne Faithfull..and raise you..a Charlotte Rampling.
Check the "Night Porter" from 74'....
great post!
thanks E-Pumpernickel & Dr.— wouldn't have thought about it without the Cabinessence post.
haven't seen Night Porter in its entirety, but have seen the scene where, in nazi garb, she takes command of a room full of nazi men by strip teasing. a lot more going on in that scene than just a strip tease... considering her character in the film, i'm pretty sure, is a jewish holocaust prisoner.
